Everyone including families with supervised children are welcome to participate in a community tree planting event at the Bear Springs Restoration Site (formerly known as Ellwood Marine Terminal) on the second Saturday of the month in conjunction with the Cheadle Center for Biodiversity and Ecological Restoration. No experience necessary, all tools and supplies provided. Please wear clothes you wouldn’t mind getting dirty, and closed toe shoes-no sandals or flips please. Parking is available at the North Campus Open Space on Whittier Drive and it is about a ten to fifteen minute walk to the site. Bicycles are recommended to this natural site. Exceptions; no event in July.
