Each year, local elementary schools host a science night in which different organizations present fun and educational activities which inspire children to learn more about the world around them. Your Children’s Trees has ten different activities that explain to children of different age groups (and parents) about the benefits of trees using the math and science concepts we employ during our everyday activities.
We are looking for volunteers who enjoy working with children to spend an evening demonstrating one of our activities. No experience needed, we have detailed guidelines for volunteers to review in advance Our mission is to provide a deeper understanding of trees and incite scientific curiosity for children.
